Each Sponsored Program Coordinator is responsible for the review, negotiation, and acceptance of contractual agreements and subcontracts related to sponsored research programs. Specific duties include:

• Negotiate the award agreement within the guidelines of the University
• Accept and fully execute an agreement by obtaining the appropriate signatures
• Ensure that projects have the approvals needed from the appropriate compliance offices
• Ensure that members of the University staff and faculty having external funding administered by the University follow the appropriate procedures
