Michelle assists the Assistant Vice President for Research in the process of research space planning and renovations. She works with faculty startups, assisting in many aspects, to include equipment purchasing and space renovations. Michelle is also responsible for managing the VPR Cost Centers, which are comprised of the Stephenson Research and Technology Storeroom (Storeroom) and the Research Campus Computing Center (RCCC). As part of these managerial duties, Michelle supervises the Storeroom Operator and associated staff. Current projects and tasks are as follows:

• Planning and on-site coordination of multiple research space renovations
• Coordinating the purchase of equipment on startup packages for new faculty hires
• Assisting the Devon Clean Room Board of Directors
• Maintaining information for the Research Space Inventory
• Overseeing day-to-day operations for the VPR Cost Centers
• Evaluation of practices and procedures for the VPR Cost Centers
• Coordination and billing for SRTC lab usage of facilities
• Serving as backup for the SRTC Storeroom Operator and SRTC Building Manager
• Serving on the Research Campus emergency procedures team for all VPR tenants
• VPR project assistance when needed
